Front Pages
A selection of front covers across Stuff’s ten daily newspapers.
In my current role as an Editorial Designer at Stuff, my responsibilities include organising and completing the front and feature pages of our ten daily newspapers.
I work to incredibly tight turnaround times in this role, with the most common timeline from briefing through to printing roughly between thirty minutes to an hour.
For each front page, I work with the Editor of the relevant newspaper to craft the best visual outcome to accompany their chosen stories.
Feature Pages
A selection of feature pages across Stuff’s weekend mastheads.
A part of my current role as Editorial Designer involves taking ownership over the organisation and execution of the ten publication’s printed weekend features.
This normally involves 5-7 features that need to be designed and shared across the papers.
These can vary in subject matter, from our well known Power List series, which involves complex design across multiple pages, to in-depth investigations pertaining to current cases breaking across New Zealand.
